The 4th European Heritage Forum Value the Heritage! European Heritage and Economic Development.
On
10th – 12th of October 2011, the
4th European Heritage Forum will be held in Wrocław. Associated meetings of national coordinators of the European Heritage Days will follow. The forum is one of the official events accompanying the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.
The theme " Value the Heritage! European heritage and economic development” will give an opportunity to present heritage as an asset, especially in the times of crisis. We will look at the heritage as capital for long-term development strategies. We also wish to present different philosophies of approach to the heritage, best practices and standards from around the world. Various experiences will be discussed by recognized experts and prime-class speakers from across the Europe.
The annual meeting of EHD coordinators will be held on 11th of October and will be followed by a training session on 12th of October entitled "communicating the European dimension of the EHDS: successful media work and creating networks".
Registration will start in the middle of July.
